Presenter Bio:

Jess Sorci is a nutritionist and functional medicine practitioner working with clients with complex health issues, including autoimmune disorders, digestive imbalances, hormone and thyroid dysregulation, and much more. Specifically, Jess specializes in autoimmune thyroid disorders, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, and Graves Disease.

She takes a different approach to care and profoundly understands that those struggling with chronic health issues often have emotional concerns or have experienced stressful life events. Because of this, Jess blends nutrition, functional medicine, stress management, and mindset coaching to address the whole woman. Her passion is health education. Jess believes in educating her clients about how diet, lifestyle, stress, and other environmental factors impede health while coaching her clients to make changes that promote health and optimal wellness.

Although a nutritionist, she sees health from a much deeper perspective and understands that food alone is rarely the problem with chronic health issues. Together, Jess works with her clients on dietary changes while addressing her clients' health scientifically, utilizing functional blood work, assessments, and extensive intakes to prioritize her client's health needs.

Jess has extensive knowledge and education in nutrition and functional medicine. She completed her Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Jess has also earned her certification as a Master Nutrition Therapist from the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education from the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
